We here at Brown Bag are on a mission to bring relief to homelessness across the country in the forms of food, garments and hygiene products. Our belief is with these kind acts, we can make these ignored people feel seen again, and give them more self respect. Through these gifts, we also hand out cards with contact information to many different relief organizations. These include organizations that aid with women fleeing domestic violence, veterans, children in need, and those with diagnosed mental illness.
We are based in Phoenix, Arizona and are working to alleviate our community as much as possible. There are over 11,000 homeless people in Phoenix alone, so we depend on the generosity of donors and volunteers all throughout the nation. We hope to inspire people throughout the country to make their own Brown Bags and hand them out to people in need. We post our progress on social media so people can see what we're up to. Feel free to follow us and watch us grow! If you ever have any questions on how to get involved, do not hesitate to ask. Please send us a picture. of you with a brown bag, or a story of how you helped someone in need. Your acts of kindness inspire us everyday. We can all make this world better, one brown bag at a time.
